Happy Sunday everyone! We had a busy week around here and I had a bit of a cold, so sorry about the lack of posting! We’ve been busy this week creating some fun St. Patty’s day things so I’ll be posting them soon! Here are some of the bento boxes that my kiddos enjoyed this week….

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this bento. It turned out exactly how I wanted it to. I packed this bright and colourful bento in a new bright and colourful EasyLunchbox! The larger section held a fun sunshine sandwich. I placed a dollop of cream cheese on the bottom of the section and used it to hold the matchstick carrots and circle-cut sandwich in place. I then used my wilton alphabet cutters and cut “YOU ARE MY” out of fruit leather. I love it! The other sections held sliced oranges and a fun silicone muffin cup with crackers and a babybel cheese with a sunshine cut out of the wax. Kirsten loved this lunch!

This fun lunch was for Camden’s afternoon nutrition break and was packed in our Trudeau Fuel Everest sandwich box. He had half a ham and bagel sandwich and I added some really cute food picks for decoration. Behind the bagel sandwich I put 2 silicone muffin cups – one with sliced cucumbers and one with sliced baby carrots. I hid some mini pretzel twists in behind.

This easy bento was for Kirsten’s morning nutrition break and packed in our steeltainer snack container. One section held some fresh blueberries and green grapes with a cute hippo bento pick. The other section held a rectangle silicone muffin cup with a nutrigrain blueberry muffin bar.

I made some homemade blueberry muffins last weekend and used them in these bento’s for my kiddos morning nutrition break. They are packed in the new brights EasyLunchboxes. I love the new and fun bright colours – and so do my kiddos! The larger section held 2 silicone muffin cups filled with green grapes and a sliced kiwi – I used some mini pretzel twists to fill in the rest of the space. The other sections held a homemade blueberry muffin and 2 fresh strawberries with cute bento picks stuck in top.

And finally, another morning nutrition break packed in our steeltainer snack container. One section held some green grapes, fresh blueberries and a peeled clementine orange with a cute leaf pick. The other section held a rectangle silicone muffin cup with a sliced mint-chip granola bar.
Here are the supplies I used to make these lunches:

awwww love that sunshine lunch!!
Thanks so much Eva!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the sunshine lunch, too! Super cute! And those muffins look DEEEElicious!
Thanks Jen! The muffins are delicious – Yummmmmm!
Adorable as always! I love how you made the strawberry leaves look like the jungle with the little animal picks. Sooo cute! =D
Thank-you so much – and that’s exactly the look I was going for with the strawberries/picks!
So cute
Thanks!
That sunshine lunch is so adorable! Don’t you just love it when a plan comes together. I’ve a notebook full of Easter crafts to do with the kids, and hope that a few of them come together like your lunch did!
Thanks Lila! Can’t wait to see your Easter crafts.
The Pin-It button is not working, nor is copying the page to pinterest. I want to save this one! Also, what kind of fruit snacks do you use for the letters? I’ve tried Fruit Roll Ups and they REALLY don’t work! I’d love your input.
I use sunrype fruit leather for the letters – although it seems they have recently changed their product to a stripey fruit leather instead of smooth which I’m not happy about! Thanks for letting me know about my pinterest button – I’m in the process of undergoing blog redesign and I’m trying to get it fixed!
